Zoom Recruitment and Consulting Pty Ltd may collect personal information about you when you deal with us in person, by telephone, fax, e‐mail, or visit our web site. Zoom Recruitment and Consulting Pty Ltd may also obtain personal information about you from a third party; for example, from your nominated referee; when receiving the results of a competency test; or obtaining performance feedback about your work.
Use and disclosure of your personal information
Personal information provided to Zoom Recruitment and Consulting Pty Ltd by applicants will be used only for the recruitment and selection process. The information will only be distributed, in strict confidence, to the selection panel (which may include members who are not Zoom Recruitment and Consulting Pty Ltd staff).
All personal information will be held in a secure location by Zoom Recruitment and Consulting Pty Ltd Human Resources staff.
How long is the information kept and what happens to this information?
Until the recruitment and selection process is complete and the information is no longer required (usually a maximum period of three months). At this time resumes and all other personal information of unsuccessful applicants will be securely destroyed.
Zoom Recruitment and Consulting Pty Ltd will not return information supplied by candidates unless the applicant has established this (in writing) with the interviewing consultant when first applying for registration with our agency.
Resumes, interview notes and all other personal information gathered during the recruitment process will be destroyed utilising a secure document removal and destruction service.
We will not sell or otherwise provide to any third party, except where required to by law, any personal information collected or held by Zoom Recruitment and Consulting Pty Ltd.

Your personal information is generally collected and stored in hardcopy and generally only details of successfully placed applicants are latter recorded and stored electronically. Zoom Recruitment and Consulting Pty Ltd has security procedures in place to protect your personal information and its own intellectual materials.
Correction to information held about you
If you believe that information we hold about you requires updating or is incorrect then we ask that you contact your local Zoom Recruitment branch to correct or update your information.
